These two West Coast towns, are situated in the Western Cape province of South Africa. They are +/- 330km from Cape Town on the R363, are within 25km of beautiful beaches combining to form a fisherman’s and crayfish diver’s paradise. The landscape is a patchwork of potato, beetroot and pumpkin fields.

Lutzville is located near the Olifants River and at high tide it is possible to go on a flat-bottomed boat to Papendorp, about 30km further downriver near its mouth. Lutzville Vineyards is located here, origin of the splendid Lutzville and Cape Diamond Wines. 7kms from Lutzville, the close by hamlet of Koekenaap is set in a patchwork landscape of farming units. As in Lutzville, farmers produce grapes, tomatoes, beans, potatoes, beetroot, pumpkin and a variety of fruit.
